FotoSketcher 3.40 is now officially released

Dear all,

FotoSketcher 3.40 for Windows is now available for download (for free, of course, as always). Head over to https://fotosketcher.com/download-fotosketcher/ to get it.

Change log:
  • Brand new Painting 2 (brushstrokes) effect
  • Slovenian translation (thanks to Jadran Rudec)
  • The red bar (located in the progress bar at the bottom of the window) to stop an effect early is now compatible with batch processing
  • Various small bug fixes
  • 64bit version is now the default (32bit version is still available at www.fosshub.com)
Here are some examples of the new "Painting 2" effect (click on the images to view in full size):

Enjoy!

Best regards,

David

Realy a great piece of software, thank you very much. On my "old" Mac it works realy good with "Play on Mac" (Wine). Only the Oilpaint 6 does freeze the programm, if a picture is a bt greater or in another ratio than usully known.

Have a nice time around christmas and a great new year!!!

thx for new version!!!
my fav. effect is Abstract and if you add more effects close to Abstract (or some Abstract variation) this will be great :-)

I have Win7 64bit, i3 processor, 4GB memory and everything works perfect for me ;-)

Thank you for your kind comment, daneyu!

Very impressive effects, with natural touch to it. Is it possible to preserve alpha during the load, processing and save (as in .png)?

Thank you for your comment! FotoSketcher only works with 24bit images internally, so unfortunately the alpha channel is not supported. This is something I'm looking into for future effects.

Great! Hoping to see it implemented in the nearest future :)

Now that it is 64bit is the Mac version compatible with Mac 10.14?

FotoSketcher for Mac is experimental and is 32bit only, but will run (albeit with a warning message) on MacOS 10.14.

David
