Hello everyone,
I am pleased to share that FotoSketcher 4.0 is nearing its official release.
To ensure a seamless experience, the Windows version will be digitally signed, which will prevent any security warnings during the installation process.
For macOS users, I am currently developing a universal binary to fully support both Intel and Apple Silicon processors. Furthermore, the application will be notarized by Apple to eliminate installation prompts and ensure a smooth setup.
Thank you for your continued patience and support. Stay tuned for the final launch!

Hey David!
I hope you don’t mind me asking, your city scene with the car looked incredible, especially the watercolor style you turned it into. I’ve been trying to figure out how you achieved that look, and it’s been stuck in my head ever since I saw your post.
If you ever have a minute, I’d love to hear how you did it, even just a rough step or a couple of tips. Totally understand if you’re busy though!
Appreciate it
Hi Jack,
I must admit that I did not save the parameters and worflow I used to produce that image, but I've been trying to recreate it and I think I got close. As soon as I've released version 4.10 I will record a tutorial video with that image as source. In a nutshell, I have used the adjustments filter to increase colour vibrancy, then used the Impasto filter with rough parameters, then a second pass with the same impasto brushstrokes but with finer details and the "erase background" unchecked. Finally I ran the felt-tip pen effect with just the edges (with this time "erase background" checked to create an image with the edges on a white background). Finally, I used the gallery at the bottom of the screen to combine the edges image with the painting (multiply mode). And the finishing touches are just the brushstrokes frame and a paper texture.
It will be clearer with a video tutorial ;)
