What's coming in FotoSketcher 4.70

Here's a quick preview of what's coming in FotoSketcher 4.70. 

avif example image turned into a vector image

AVIF support

FotoSketcher will now open .avif images. This modern format is increasingly common, especially for photos from recent phones and images downloaded from the web, so you'll no longer need to convert them before starting a painting. Please note that AVIF is supported for opening only.

Affinity brushes

You'll be able to import your own custom brushes in the .afbrushes format used by Affinity. If you already have a collection of Affinity brushes you love, you can now bring them straight into FotoSketcher and use them in your artwork.

New Crosshatch effect

A brand new Crosshatch effect (in b&w and colour) joins the Sketch & Drawing category. 

A slightly more compact interface

I've tidied up the interface to give your image a little more room. The separate rotation buttons have been combined into a single one that handles rotating left, rotating right and fine rotation all in one place. 

As always, thank you for your feedback and ideas, which continue to shape where FotoSketcher goes next. I'll post again as soon as 4.70 is ready to download.
